This book is compiled by the Bilingual Dictionary Research Center of Nanjing University at the invitation of the Secretariat of the World Canal Cities Organization (WCCO). It contains nearly 800 entries of historical and cultural information about the world’s canals, showing the geographical, historical and cultural features of famous canals in different places. The book box lists all the canal names, and a single page of canal name list is attached in the book for quick browsing. The design of the book not only maintains the functional role of the dictionary, but also processes the information rigorously and professionally, and shows the beauty of the book through design.
